If so, you need to be assessed by our Athlete Identification Officers (AIOs) prior to the naming on the Final Player Assessment Lists. The Elite Skill Development days provide you with an opportunity to be assessed by our AIOs who will be in attendance at these days to conduct assessments. Please ensure that you nominate for the relevant State Team before attending these days in order to be assessed.
Do you want some additional skill development?
The Elite Skill Development Days provide you with an opportunity to refine your existing skills, as well as learn some new and exciting ones. You also get the opportunity to train with players of a similar age and ability from a range of clubs.
Which age group do I belong to?
Whether you are in the U13, U15 or U18 age group, you must be of the age or below on January 1st for the year of the national tourmnament to be eligible to compete.

Hockey Victoria will be running Elite Skill Development Days throughout 2017 & beyond.
These days will run from 9.30am – 3.30pm at the State Netball Hockey Centre. Participants are asked to arrive at least 15minutes prior to the start time for registration.
Upcoming Elite Skill Development Days
Dec - U18 Boys and Girls, Saturday 9th December at The State Netball Hockey Centre (maximum 44 field players & 6 GKs per group)
Location: State Netball Hockey Centre - 10 Brens Drive, Parkville, 3052
This Elite Skill Development Day is targeted towards those players who have played at zone level or higher. If you are unsure if these days are suitable for you/your child please contact Phil Burrows (email@example.com) for guidance. Players will be placed into groups of approximately 11, based on their age and ability.
All groups will be coached by State and Victoria Institute of Sport players and coaches, many of whom are Hockey Victoria Academy coaches. All groups will complete a range of drills and modified games, then there will be the chance to practice the skills in match play at the end of each day.

What to bring to an Elite Skill Develo[pment Day
Participants are asked to bring morning tea, lunch, a drink bottle, hat, sunscreen and a pen to these days.
The cost per day is $100 which is paid through this form. Please register early as there are limited positions available.
